The moment Cui Shangkai heard those words, his mind immediately fell into turmoil. He quickly got out of bed and paced back and forth in the room, asking anxiously, “What do you mean by that?”
The hacker group leader sighed helplessly and explained, “It’s not that my people aren’t trying; it’s just that Huading Corporation simply doesn’t have any problems.”
“No problems? Are you absolutely sure there’s not a single issue? Are you certain?” Cui Shangkai asked, his face full of agitation. He refused to accept this. No matter how clean Huading Corporation seemed, could it really be flawless? Cui Shangkai believed that was impossible.
The hacker leader replied earnestly, “Why would I lie? We’re professionals. After repeated verification, we gave you the results. So, it can’t be wrong.”
“So you’re saying Huading Corporation is as pure as an innocent maiden, without a single flaw?” Cui Shangkai asked with displeasure.
The hacker leader sighed again. “That’s exactly how it is. I couldn’t find what you wanted, and I’m even willing to refund the 100,000 yuan. I’m not lying—after all, who would want to lose money, right?”
Cui Shangkai felt his heart sink.
He could sense that the hacker leader wasn’t deceiving him; he had probably done his best but found nothing. What else could be done?
Cui Shangkai let out a furious shout to the heavens, then coldly said into the phone, “Forget the 100,000 yuan. Consider it a friendship fee. Maybe I’ll need your help again someday.”
The hacker leader laughed upon hearing this. “Thank you, Boss Cui.”
“Hang up.” Cui Shangkai’s mood was sour. He ended the call, tossed his phone onto the bed, and couldn’t help but curse loudly, “Bastards! All of them are bastards.”
Just as Cui Shangkai finished cursing, to his surprise, the phone rang again.
Excited, he hurried to the bed and picked up the phone, wondering if it was the hacker leader calling back. But when he saw the caller ID, he was astonished—it wasn’t the hacker leader; it was Yu Fanwei, the young master of the Yu family.
Respect welled up in Cui Shangkai’s heart. After all, he had been planning to contact Yu Fanwei, hoping the Yu family could assist him. And now, the call came.
He quickly answered, and Yu Fanwei’s cold laughter came through the line: “Old Cui, not busy now, right? Come to the provincial capital. The Yu family wants to see you.”
Cui Shangkai asked eagerly, “Young Master Yu, what’s the matter?”
Yu Fanwei replied coldly, “Why ask so many questions? Come over, and we’ll talk.”
“All right, all right.” Cui Shangkai nodded hastily, excitement rising within him. He guessed that the Yu family’s summons must be related to Chen Yang. Could it be that revenge was within reach?
Without a moment’s delay, Cui Shangkai packed up and headed to the Yu family in the provincial capital.
Meanwhile, on Chen Yang’s side, he was unaware of what Cui Shangkai had been up to recently.
However, early that morning, upon arriving at his office at Huading Corporation, Chen Yang suddenly grew interested in what the members of the Southwest Chamber of Commerce had been doing since its dissolution.
Before his chair was even warmed, he picked up his phone and called Lin Qianyao.
Soon, Lin Qianyao answered, chuckling over the phone, “President Chen, what can I do for you?”

“Nothing much,” Chen Yang chuckled. “I just wanted to find out what those people from the Southwest Chamber are up to since the chamber dissolved.”
Lin Qianyao laughed softly. “According to my sources, they’re all doing their own things now. But Liu Xianghui came to Linhai yesterday.”
“Liu Xianghui?” Chen Yang murmured in surprise, a bit puzzled. Whenever he heard that name, he always felt the man was up to no good.
Curious, Chen Yang asked, “Do you know what he was doing here?”
Lin Qianyao said, “Liu Xianghui’s itinerary was simple. He had dinner with those Southwest Chamber folks at night, then went to a hotel to sleep. The next day, he returned to the provincial capital. Very straightforward.”
“Is that so?” Chen Yang smiled faintly.
Then he added, “Lin, to be honest, whenever I hear that this guy came to Linhai, I feel like something bad is going to happen.”
Lin Qianyao laughed heartily at this.
After laughing for a while, he said with confidence, “President Chen, let’s be realistic. Even if Liu Xianghui came here to cause trouble, what kind of storm could a man like him really stir up?”
“True enough,” Chen Yang said.
Having got the information he wanted, Chen Yang didn’t want to waste time chatting further. Work was more important. He said, “Alright, Lin, you’re busy. I just asked out of curiosity.”
Lin Qianyao replied quickly, “Okay, when I find anything, I’ll call you.”
“Good.” Chen Yang nodded, a satisfied expression on his face, and ended the call.
After hanging up, Chen Yang turned his attention away from the Southwest Chamber crowd and focused on his work.
After all, the Northern Suburb New City project still had many tasks awaiting his attention.
Meanwhile, at the Yu family in the provincial capital.
Cui Shangkai sped toward the provincial capital and finally arrived at the Yu family estate three hours later.
He was received by Yu Chengfei, a man with a fierce desire for revenge.
In a bright and spotless office, Cui Shangkai saw Yu Chengfei standing with his hands behind his back, gazing thoughtfully out the window as he entered.
Filled with deep respect, Cui Shangkai hurriedly approached him from behind and bowed his head, addressing him respectfully, “Lord Fei.”
Yu Chengfei quickly withdrew his gaze and slowly turned around upon hearing Cui Shangkai’s voice.
As Yu Chengfei faced him, Cui Shangkai bowed even lower, his entire demeanor radiating reverence.

Yu Chengfei stared at Cui Shangkai for two seconds, then suddenly teased with a smile, “Cui Shangkai, you’ve lived a pretty miserable life.”
Cui Shangkai felt deeply embarrassed, his face flushing red as he bowed his head, overwhelmed with shame.
“But,” Yu Chengfei continued, “I can give you a chance to turn things around. It depends on whether you want to seize it.”
Hearing this, Cui Shangkai’s heart stirred. He lifted his head, his expression serious. “Lord Fei, whatever you command, just say it. As long as it’s within my ability, I won’t hesitate.”
Yu Chengfei smiled with satisfaction. “Good. I like that attitude. Since you’re cooperative, I won’t beat around the bush. I want you to find someone and steal all the unfavorable information about my Yu family that the Chen family holds.”
“I suspect there isn’t just one copy of that information. He must have one on his computer, another on his person, probably stored on a USB drive. No matter how many copies there are, I want you to find a way—delete what needs deleting, steal what needs stealing. So, what do you say? Are you willing to take this job?”
Cui Shangkai listened carefully to Yu Chengfei’s request, then a profound sense of helplessness welled up inside him.
When Yu Chengfei was halfway through, Cui Shangkai had already known this mission was impossible.
Because those incriminating documents about the Yu family were online; Chen Yang could back them up as many times as he wanted.
Trying to delete some copies and steal others was simply not feasible. First of all, no one knew how many backups Chen Yang had.
With a heavy heart and apologetic expression, Cui Shangkai shook his head. “Lord Fei, it’s not that I don’t want to do this, but it’s just impossible.”
Yu Chengfei furrowed his brow. “Explain your reasons.”
Cui Shangkai laid out his thoughts in detail.
After listening, Yu Chengfei found it reasonable.
Indeed, who knew how many backups Chen Yang had?
If they failed to steal all the data and Chen Yang found out, he might angrily hand the evidence over to the authorities. Wouldn’t the Yu family then lose more than they gained?
Thinking this over, Yu Chengfei chuckled. “Fine. Since that path is blocked, Old Cui, you’ve just lost a golden opportunity to cooperate with the Yu family.”
“That’s not necessarily so.” Just as Yu Chengfei finished speaking, he was completely unprepared for Cui Shangkai's sudden confidence in declaring the task impossible.
