Chapter 107: That's Way Too Cheap for Him
Yu Chengfei’s expression twisted into a sneer as he glared fiercely at Chen Yang. “Yes, we intend to cripple you. Any objections?”
Chen Yang let out a cold laugh. “With just those three? I don’t think so.”
Yu Chengfei’s face grew even more menacing.
Chen Yang’s arrogance struck him as laughable.
After all, the ones surrounding him now were not ordinary people.
They were ancient martial artists.
Ancient martial artists were far stronger than the usual martial arts school owners.
Moreover, these ancient martial artists had cultivated to the point where their internal energy radiated outward, capable of killing without a trace.
If it were just one ancient martial artist, Chen Yang’s disdain might be understandable.
But now, three ancient martial artists were encircling him.
Yu Chengfei couldn’t believe Chen Yang stood a chance.
“Mr. Chen, Mr. Chen,” Lin Qianyao suddenly whispered from behind Chen Yang.
Chen Yang immediately turned around. “What is it?”
Lin Qianyao spoke quietly, “Ancient martial artists aren’t easy to deal with. Maybe it’s better to negotiate.”
“I’m fine. I know what I’m doing,” Chen Yang said with a smile, also surprised by Lin Qianyao’s suggestion.
He hadn’t expected Lin Qianyao to say that.
Still, Chen Yang understood that Lin Qianyao was only trying to look out for him.
Lin Qianyao, however, had no idea about Chen Yang’s true strength.
At that moment, one of the ancient martial artists spoke coldly to Chen Yang, “Stop wasting time and come accept your death.”
“Are you really sure that I’m the one who’ll die?” Chen Yang asked with icy calmness.
“Heh heh, if it’s not you, then who else?” another long-faced ancient martial artist sneered coldly.
Chen Yang let out a scornful laugh.
Yu Chengfei, sensing the moment was right, ordered the three ancient martial artists, “Attack now. Don’t waste time talking.”
“Understood.”
One of the ancient martial artists snarled and suddenly charged at Chen Yang, internal energy crackling fiercely.
Lin Qianyao’s brows knitted tightly in concern.
His face was filled with worry.
That energy crackling was bad news.
The ancient martial artist swung a fist toward Chen Yang’s face.
The punch was powerful and full of vigor.
Chen Yang could see it clearly.
Yet, there was not a hint of fear in Chen Yang’s eyes.
As the ancient martial artist’s fist came crashing down, Chen Yang threw his own punch.
The two fists collided with a heavy thud.
Chen Yang didn’t budge an inch.
The ancient martial artist flew backward like a kite with its string cut, crashing heavily to the ground.
The other two ancient martial artists were stunned.
Yu Chengfei and Lin Qianyao were equally shocked.
Both had expected Chen Yang’s hand to be injured from withstanding such a blow.
But they never imagined the outcome would be this:
Chen Yang had won decisively.
The remaining two ancient martial artists, realizing Chen Yang’s formidable skills, attacked from his left and right simultaneously.
Chen Yang grabbed one’s wrist and hurled him forcefully away.
He then exchanged a few moves with the last ancient martial artist before kicking him flying.
All three lay on the ground, writhing in severe pain.
Yu Chengfei couldn’t help but look at Chen Yang with surprise.
Chen Yang’s strength was astonishing.
Yu Chengfei had never expected this.
Suddenly, Chen Yang took a swift step forward, grabbed Yu Chengfei’s collar, and said coldly, “Anything else to say?”
“Let Master Yu go.”
“Damn it, let Master Yu go now.”
Yu Chengfei’s subordinates shouted coldly at Chen Yang, seeing their leader grabbed by the collar.
Chen Yang’s gaze was icy.
He scanned the surroundings and hissed, “If you don’t want to die, all of you shut up.”
Then he turned back to Yu Chengfei with contempt. “What else do you have to say?”
Yu Chengfei’s face darkened. “Nothing to say.”
“Then have the head of the Yu family come here and talk to me,” Chen Yang said, suddenly twisting Yu Chengfei’s wrist and kicking him hard in the chest.
Yu Chengfei slammed heavily against the car door.
This stunned Yu Chengfei’s men.
They prepared to attack Chen Yang.
But then, one of the ancient martial artists on the ground hurriedly said, “No... don’t fight. You... you’re no match for him.”
Yu Chengfei, clutching his chest and gritting his teeth, got up and said, “Don’t die for nothing. Retreat, retreat...”
Only then did Yu Chengfei’s men stop their advance.
Yu Chengfei climbed into the car, and his men followed.
Soon, the convoy drove away.
Chen Yang did not pursue.
After the Yu family convoy left, Lin Qianyao quickly approached Chen Yang from behind. “Mr. Chen, are you alright?”
Chen Yang smiled slightly. “What could happen to me? I’m fine.”
“I really didn’t expect your martial arts to be so impressive,” Lin Qianyao praised.
Chen Yang didn’t want to discuss his martial skills too much and said lightly, “I’ve always been quite capable. Let’s go inside and see Cui Shangkai.”
Lin Qianyao nodded eagerly.
Chen Yang entered the abandoned factory again, finding Cui Shangkai staring at him with a dazed expression.
Chen Yang smiled faintly. “No need to wait anymore. Your Master Yu has already left.”
Cui Shangkai trembled violently and lowered his head, saying nothing.
Chen Yang stared at him for seven seconds, then turned to Lin Qianyao. “Release him.”
There was no use keeping Cui Shangkai here now.
Besides, Chen Yang had promised to release him once he handed over the company.
He meant to keep his word.
Lin Qianyao nodded. “Release him.”
His men immediately untied Cui Shangkai.
Freed, Cui Shangkai walked solemnly to Chen Yang and said, “You are true to your word. I admire that.”
“I always keep my promises,” Chen Yang said wit
