Hearing that his bounty was only ten thousand taels of gold, Wu Tian instantly flew into a rage and tugged at Niu Wuji while complaining.

Niu Wuji was speechless. Others wanted to be fugitives and trembled with fear, but Wu Tian actually complained that the bounty was too low. No one else would do.

“Boss, what should we do now?” Niu Wuji asked once they had left.

Wu Tian took out the map clue for the Dark God Armor, glanced at it, and said, “I was originally planning to stock up on supplies in a nearby town, but now that I’m wanted nationwide by Xinye City, entering the city would bring trouble and waste time. So let’s avoid towns and head straight to our destination!”

With that, Wu Tian pointed to the marked spot on the map—the location of the Dark God Armor.

Niu Wuji glanced at it, though he didn’t know what Wu Tian was after, he still followed without hesitation.

“Boss, this spot looks kind of familiar. Oh, it seems to be one of the four dangerous lands in the Kuangwu Empire—the Dark Swamp. Its danger level is no less than the Mist Forest near Pingyang City!” Niu Wuji’s eyes widened when he saw the coordinates on the map.

“Dark Swamp?” Wu Tian looked puzzled.

“The Dark Swamp is one of the four dangerous lands in the Kuangwu Empire. The terrain is extremely complex, and it’s home to many high-level demonic beasts. It’s filled with various poisonous miasmas, and the most dangerous part is the dark flow swamps. Even high-level demonic beasts that fall in can’t get out and can only wait to die!” Li Tie Dan said seriously to Wu Tian.

“One of the four dangerous lands in the Kuangwu Empire. Interesting.” Wu Tian smiled faintly. “I’ve already been to the Mist Forest. Now it’s time to visit the Dark Swamp too. Before long, I’ll have explored all four dangerous lands.”

Seeing that Wu Tian showed no fear at all, Niu Wuji spread his hands and said, “Since Young Master is determined to go there, I can only accompany you through fire and water.”

Little Hui, sitting nearby, didn’t speak but watched Wu Tian firmly. A single glance from him made Wu Tian understand her resolve.

“Good! Since you all trust me so much, I naturally won’t let anything happen to you!” Wu Tian said seriously, then glanced at the sky. “It’s about time we rested. Let’s continue on our way!”

From then on, the group headed west toward the Dark Swamp.

The second-in-command of the Fierce Tiger Hall led the Black Tiger Team to Xinye City. He had come out to have some fun and incidentally take care of Wu Tian, but upon arriving he found that Wu Tian had already left the city and was now a wanted fugitive there.

“Second-in-command, this is Wu Tian’s bounty. I heard that last night Wu Tian tangled with the city guards for most of the night and even killed the six city defenders of Xinye City. Now that there’s no word of Wu Tian, I’m afraid he’s already left the city,” one of the Fierce Tiger Hall’s intelligence agents reported to the second-in-command.

The second-in-command, who had been gnawing on a chicken leg, frowned. “This kid actually ran away? Damn it! I was planning to take him out first and then play around, but this brat just fled. Fuck, now I don’t have time to enjoy myself!”

“Second-in-command, now that Wu Tian is wanted by Xinye City, any movement will draw attention. Once there’s any sign of activity, we can strike.”

Just then, several Fierce Tiger Hall members rushed over quickly.

The Black Tiger Team naturally followed the second-in-command westward.

During this period, Li Tie Dan also had his sister Li Qingqing start cultivating. Since Li Qingqing seemed to be interested in archery, Wu Tian exchanged a bowman’s cultivation technique for her in the system shop.

In just seven or eight days, Niu Wuji reached the seventh level of martial master, Li Tie Dan reached the tenth level, and Xiaohui reached the fifth level, while Li Qingqing was brought to the first level of martial master.

“Young Master, we’re only a few miles away from the Dark Swamp now. The closer we get, the more dangerous it becomes. I suggest we prepare ourselves a bit and have countermeasures ready for any dangers,” Li Tie Dan reminded Wu Tian as they approached the Dark Swamp.
