As Eben spoke, Zhang Wei had already seen through his thoughts. Eben was thinking, "Oh my, if little Weiwei knew that my good sister was the pure and innocent beauty Li Sixuan, wouldn’t he be over the moon with excitement?"

"Li Sixuan!" The moment Zhang Wei caught that name, his heart leapt. He hadn’t expected that the female star Eben mentioned would be the nationally renowned rising star of pure beauty.

Though Zhang Wei wasn’t much of a fan, he was somewhat familiar with Li Sixuan. She was one of the hottest actresses in the entertainment industry. While Zhang Wei had never watched her works, he had noticed her because of her striking beauty.

A female star need not be conventionally beautiful; as long as she had distinctive features that left an impression on viewers and bore a hint of charm, she could be labeled a beauty. The word "beauty" had, in fact, been overused.

Among Zhang Wei’s friends and colleagues, many could be called beauties, but each had their shortcomings or imperfections. If categorized finely, beauties could be ranked into several tiers.

Li Sixuan was undoubtedly among the rare top-tier beauties in the entertainment world. Especially her pure and innocent visage evoked protective affection from many men, making them long to embrace and cherish her.

“Oh dear, little Weiwei, what are you thinking? Have you guessed who it is yet?” Eben pouted and twisted his body coquettishly, seeking a response.

“In the entertainment circle, the title of ‘pure and innocent beauty’ probably only fits the great star Li Sixuan, right?” Zhang Wei said confidently.

“Oh my, little Weiwei, you’re amazing! You guessed Little Sixuan’s identity right away!” Eben laughed and playfully patted Zhang Wei’s shoulders.

“To be honest, I’m a fan of hers too,” Zhang Wei smiled.

Though Eben seemed unreliable, Zhang Wei’s mind-reading revealed that he mostly spoke the truth. So indeed, Eben’s friend was Li Sixuan, a superstar renting a place nearby, which naturally excited Zhang Wei.

Now that it was confirmed that she wanted to rent a house, Zhang Wei naturally had to inquire about her requirements. No matter how friendly, if the house didn’t meet her expectations, she wouldn’t rent it.

“Eben, does Miss Li Sixuan have any special requirements for the house?” Zhang Wei asked.

“Oh my, little Weiwei, so professional, already thinking about work,” Eben giggled. “Actually, Little Sixuan doesn’t have many special demands. Just a two-bedroom apartment in a high-end community with good security and a large bathroom will do. As for rent, no more than ten thousand yuan per month.”

“No problem. I’ll find suitable places as soon as possible. But does Miss Li have any preference for the location?” Zhang Wei inquired.

Although the Yayu Garden community was pleasant with decent facilities, it wasn’t exactly high-end. So Zhang Wei would have to look elsewhere, which is why he asked about the preferred location.

“You’re so thoughtful, little Weiwei. But Little Sixuan doesn’t have strict requirements—anywhere nearby will do. She has a car to pick her up and drop her off daily, so it’s quite convenient,” Eben replied.

“Miss Li must be very busy, being such a big star. Do you know when she has time to view the house?” Zhang Wei asked.

“Oh my! If you hadn’t asked, I would have forgotten! Little Sixuan does have a special request for house viewings: she only looks at houses after 8 p.m.,” Eben said, placing both hands over his heart with a look of fright.

“After 8 p.m.? Why so late?” Zhang Wei frowned.

“Oh dear, Little Sixuan is a superstar adored by half the nation! If she went house-hunting during the day, wouldn’t her fans swarm her like pandas at a zoo?” Eben giggled.

Zhang Wei nodded, realizing he hadn’t considered this. If Li Sixuan roamed the streets in broad daylight, she’d certainly be surrounded by fans. It would be difficult even to leave, let alone view a house.

“Eben, here’s my business card. If there’s anything, feel free to contact me anytime,” Zhang Wei said, handing over a card.

Although Eben was amusing and Zhang Wei didn’t dislike his company, the man’s overly delicate demeanor still gave him chills. He preferred to avoid being alone with him whenever possible.

“Little Weiwei, here’s mine. Keep it safe, okay? When you find a suitable place, call me immediately. Little Sixuan’s still living in a hotel—so many people coming and going, it’s quite inconvenient,” Eben said, pulling a pink cardholder from his red leather bag and handing Zhang Wei a green business card.

“What on earth? An international stylist? This card is so garish,” Zhang Wei thought, holding the overly colorful card in his hand, feeling quite uncomfortable compared to the plain white cards he was used to.

“Eben, I’ve got your card. No time to waste—I’ll start looking for listings now and try to show you and Miss Li houses tonight,” Zhang Wei said.

“Oh my, little Weiwei, I’m going to miss you! I feel like we get along so well. You’re the most tasteful agent I’ve ever met!” Eben pouted.

“No worries. Once I find the right place, maybe we’ll meet tonight,” Zhang Wei replied half-heartedly.

In truth, Zhang Wei’s clothing wasn’t necessarily more tasteful than other agents’; it was just that he had more money to buy expensive clothes. Most agents wore suits costing only a couple hundred yuan, which naturally failed to impress someone like Eben, an international stylist.

If it had been a month earlier, Zhang Wei’s clothes weren’t any better than those of other agents. Back then, Eben might not have even glanced his way. That was one reason Zhang Wei bought costly clothes: to dress suitably for high-end clients.

A person’s attire often reflects their financial status, and an agent’s ability is closely tied to their professional image. An agent who can’t afford decent clothes hardly stands a chance of being successful.

After speaking, Zhang Wei stepped down from his Porsche. Just as he started walking away, a sweet, sharp voice called out, “Little Weiwei, good luck! I’m rooting for you!”

Zhang Wei turned to greet Eben, only to see him flash a coquettish wink, sending another chill down Zhang Wei’s spine. He forced a smile and said, “Eben, let’s keep in touch.”

“Sure thing, little Weiwei! Work hard to find good listings during the day, and I’ll take you to meet Little Sixuan tonight!” Eben giggled, blowing a kiss as Zhang Wei walked away.
