A mere lowly second-stage mortal immortal dares to bark orders like that. The peak-level water troops of the mortal and ghost immortals all sneered disdainfully. What kind of creature is this fellow? With such a shallow cultivation level, does he really think himself someone important? Is there even room for you to speak here?
The four Earth Immortals above also showed expressions of contempt. Who is this? He seems to be a human cultivator, yet why has he come here and dares to speak so boldly? Who does he think he is?
The deity formed from the golden carp, named Ao Li, also follows the path of dragon transformation and thus bears that surname. Now impatient, he said, “There is no place for you to speak here. Which expert has harmed Ao Hong? Step forward and speak. Stop hiding.”
Liu Ping spread out his hands and said, “Isn’t the expert right before your eyes?”
Ao Li snorted coldly, “Laughing at such a time is hardly wise. If you wish to die, I am willing to grant you that.”
Liu Ping smiled faintly, “You may try.”
Ao Li furrowed his brows slightly, finally sensing something was amiss. He lowered his head to scrutinize Liu Ping’s expression and some deeper aura, moved for a moment, but then his face changed drastically, only to quickly return to its usual coldness. He snorted, “Fine, I believe it was you. But you are but a mere outsider. Why meddle in the affairs of our Water God lineage?”
His serious tone stunned everyone. The countless water troops exchanged glances, unsure what this big shot’s intention was, why he spoke to this small fry on equal footing. The other three Earth Immortals were all taken aback, looking closely at Liu Ping, their eyes altering.
Hearing this, Liu Ping knew he had seen through him. This was not surprising; besides cultivation level, he had not tried to hide it. Then, listening to the accusation, he replied calmly, “I stand against injustice and draw my sword to help. Nothing more.”
Ao Li said, “This is an internal matter of the Ao family. We only came to bring her back. What injustice is there? Instead, you have injured Ao Hong so gravely. Do you intend to offend the entire Water God path? No matter what background you have, you won’t end well.”
If the previous words surprised many, these words shocked them even more. They found it hard to believe their ears. Just now, Liu Ping claimed he was the expert, and they sneered. Now their leader admits Liu Ping harmed Ao Hong? One by one, they stared at Liu Ping in disbelief. This person, a mere second-stage mortal immortal, actually possesses such power?
Liu Ping grinned fiercely, “My fate is none of your concern. Offend the Water God path? You shameless scoundrels, coveting her Water God Seal, even her body, and yet you dare speak so? Why do you have the right to represent the Water God path? What qualification do you have?”
Ao Li sneered and countered, “Then as an outsider, what right do you have to interfere in the Ao family’s affairs?”
Liu Ping shamelessly said, “Of course I have the right. Ao Jinyu will be my woman from now on. Her Water God Seal is my Water God Seal. If you dare touch what’s mine, why wouldn’t I intervene?”

“Uh, uh?” Nearby, Ao Jinyu felt the tense atmosphere suffocating. Hearing that suddenly, she was dumbfounded, a wave of inexplicable feelings washing over her. Then she realized, her cheeks flushed crimson with embarrassment, flustered and unsure. She did have a bit of a fondness for him, but when did she become his woman? Yet since he was standing up for her, she couldn’t argue and could only stammer like a shy girl, which gave people the impression she truly belonged to Liu Ping…
Beside her, Uncle Kong and five armored soldiers were equally stunned, evidently not having caught up with the rapid turn of events. The development was swift, the twists abrupt.
As he spoke, Liu Ping glanced at Ao Jinyu with concern. His nonsense was just a temporary ploy; he hoped she wouldn’t unknowingly sabotage him.
Seeing her shy nod with a graceful demeanor, he mentally praised, "Nice! Such a good assist! Dragon Clan, good teammate!"
“Ah?” The numerous water troops above, including the four Earth Immortals, were shocked and incredulous. From where did this guy suddenly appear and claim Ao Jinyu, the unparalleled beauty of the Ancient Yuan Realm, as his woman? Judging by Ao Jinyu’s posture, could it be true?
Many water troops’ eyes reddened slightly. Ao Jinyu, a peerless beauty revered as the cherished pearl of the Ancient Yuan Realm, was a goddess admired deeply by many. Now a stranger silently claimed her as his own, stirring disbelief and strong jealousy.
After his mental praise, Liu Ping seemed to find an excuse for himself and even grew righteously indignant, unable to help but shout, “You despicable scoundrels all deserve death! Especially Ao Hong, who dared touch my woman! He is courting death! No one in the nine heavens or ten earths can save him! And I spared his life—that’s a tremendous favor! Do you even realize that? And you, what are you? Drumming war drums to come here and fight? A tiger never shows its claws only to be mistaken for a sick cat!”
Such a furious rebuke, so arrogant, enraged the four Earth Immortals. Just as they were about to retort, they were suddenly shaken by a powerful aura! The water troops felt as if plunged into an icy abyss, trembling all over.
A towering figure of pale blue appeared, clad entirely in armor etched with countless mystical runes. His androgynous yet perfect face exuded a noble aura, looking down upon all around with ease and composure.
“Don’t seek death, and you won’t die. Why can’t you understand that?!” Liu Ping sneered. These words, broadcast through the divine and demonic voice, shocked the entire scene. No one dared to belittle or doubt him again; solemn expressions replaced all.
Ling’er excitedly shouted in the spirit sea, “Young master, haha, you speak so interestingly. ‘Don’t seek death and you won’t die’—how true! Four Earth Immortals and so many water troops—this is going to be fun!”
Liu Ping said, “Be serious; this is not a game.”
Ling’er replied, “It is a game. As long as we win! Young master, release Xiao Yu. She can attack and move swiftly.”
Liu Ping nodded and released dozens of weapons refined inside the treasure pouch. Under the control of the Dao Weapon Wings, these weapons formed a massive wing. The iron-blood wings crafted from steel arms carried an unusual beauty.
Facing Liu Ping’s moves, the four Earth Immortals prepared carefully, drawing out their life-bound magical treasures. The water troops began to form battle formations.

“Form the formation!” Flags waved continuously as the troops organized rapidly. Soon, all water troops completed the formation.
Boom boom boom boom! The war drums grew ever deeper. These drums were magical artifacts controlled by a half-step Earth Immortal. When the drumming began, all fear vanished from the crowd’s hearts, replaced by wild fervor.
The war commander shouted, “Charge and kill!”
Before anyone could react, everything happened in an instant. The three factions of water troops charged simultaneously from different angles. The momentum was tremendous, like mountains collapsing and seas roaring, an overwhelming force that struck terror.
The four Earth Immortals looked down calmly, watching quietly, eager to see just how formidable Liu Ping truly was.
The thousand-plus water troops united in formation with no hint of fear. Even Liu Ping knew it would be hard to withstand their assault alone.
Yet the divine and demonic figure remained still, waiting for the charge.
Boom!
The united water troops struck swiftly, hitting their target at once—but only to pass straight through and hit the ground.
Everyone was stunned, then realized Liu Ping’s speed was too great—they had struck an illusion! Many were dumbfounded, turning to look back, only to see the divine and demonic form Liu Ping assumed already soaring into the sky, attacking the four Earth Immortals!
“Die!” Liu Ping swung the giant sword condensed from nothingness, carrying a fierce sword intent, slashing fiercely.
This sudden assault shocked the four Earth Immortals. Such speed was overwhelmingly strong. Yet this arrogant attitude was hard for them to endure. They, proud Earth Immortals, were being attacked by a single mortal immortal in a four-against-one scenario? They felt an unbearable humiliation.
Gritting their teeth, they summoned magical treasures and unleashed their ultimate moves in retaliation. The combined attacks of the four Earth Immortals forced even Liu Ping to be cautious.
