Soon, the brush stopped.

The Face-Changing Talisman was complete!

Without a second thought, Lin Yanghao tossed the Face-Changing Talisman directly at Gu Shi.

The moment he threw it, a bright look lit up Lin Yanghao's eyes.

At this thought, Gu Shi instantly regretted why he had even bothered asking Lin Yanghao about it in the first place.

"Take a look." A mirror appeared in Lin Yanghao's hand, and he immediately aimed it at Gu Shi's face.

"Who is this? Don't tell me you switched me into another body!" In the mirror was now an entirely unfamiliar face, one that bore a stark difference from his original appearance.

Consequently, Gu Shi mistook this physical form for an entirely different body.

"This is you," Lin Yanghao said.

"How can that be? Don't I know what Leng Ya looks like?" Gu Shi was completely bewildered. How on earth had this become *him*?

Such a bizarre event was simply unheard of.

For a moment, Gu Shi had no idea what to do.

"What I just crafted is a type of talisman called the Face-Changing Talisman. Using it can not only alter one's appearance, but also change one's aura," Lin Yanghao explained, deciding to stop teasing Gu Shi.

"Such a miraculous talisman actually exists in this world?" Gu Shi found it hard to believe. He had never heard of any such talisman in the entire Spirit Realm.

Could this talisman be some brand-new discovery?

"There are plenty of things you don't know yet." Of course, Lin Yanghao couldn't tell him that the Face-Changing Talisman was found in the manual on talisman crafting, so he simply brushed it off with an ambiguous excuse.

"You'd better not wander around here. Wait until some time passes before coming out; things have been quite unstable lately," another Transcending Tribulation stage cultivator warned Gu Shi and Lin Yanghao.

"Thank you for the warning, I am deeply grateful," Lin Yanghao said, cupping his fists in a feigned salute.

"It's not them. How could a man and a woman like this possibly be Lin Yanghao? Let's keep looking elsewhere." With that, An Shan dragged the other cultivator away.

Once they had gone, Lin Yanghao let out a heavy sigh of relief.

He then headed toward the spot where he had parted ways with Zeng Quan.

"Why are you coming here?" Gu Shi asked, surprised that Lin Yanghao would risk coming out just for this.

"A friend of mine is still here." Following that, Lin Yanghao roughly recounted the situation regarding Zeng Quan.

"It's been so many days already. I'd say the chances of him still being alive are pretty slim," Lin Yanghao said, shaking his head.
