Chapter 100: The Celestial Overlord Hammer [Third Update]
“Wow… Luffy, great hero, please save me!”
He Deyai rushed toward Gong Juechen and hid behind him.
“Don’t be afraid, everything’s fine now.”
Gong Juechen took out a yellow talisman from his body and stuck it on the door. He quickly formed a hand seal with both hands.
After finishing, he turned and walked into the dilapidated temple, glancing at the White Bone Spirit cradling the dragon beside him.
“What the heck, why wasn’t this White Bone Spirit blasted away by Daoist Zhang Tianling’s Soul-Shaking Bell?”
Gong Juechen was quite surprised as he approached and looked down curiously at the White Bone Spirit holding the dragon.
“I’m not sure either,” Zhang Tianling said, speechless. His Soul-Shaking Bell attack had been comprehensive—how could it have failed to affect this White Bone Spirit? It was very unexpected.
“Dragon brother, are you alright? Want me to hold you instead?” Gong Juechen joked with a mischievous smile.
“Yeah, right. Get lost.”
Luffy raised his eyes and shot a glare at Gong Juechen, then pulled the little White Bone Spirit aside. “She’s kind-hearted and not evil; of course the Soul-Shaking Bell doesn’t work on her.”
Luffy knew well that the real reason was that he had intervened, preventing the White Bone Spirit from being affected by the bell.
“Fairies have never been divided into good or evil; they’re all bad. Dragon, you’d better not be deceived,” Zhang Tianling said seriously to the youth called Dragon.
“Besides, we’re trapped in grave danger. We might all die here.”
“It’s fine. Good karma is rare,” Luffy shook his head, refusing to listen to Zhang Tianling’s warnings.
“This is interesting. Didn’t expect you to be a good White Bone Spirit. Come here, brother will cherish you.”
Gong Juechen smiled. “I saved the entire Jiuzhou Safe Zone and defeated six quasi-kings allied together. Don’t you want me to hold you?”
“Hmph, pervert.” Nearby, He Xueqi couldn’t stand it anymore. She never imagined that this hero Luffy would be like this; it was beyond her expectations.
“Hey, hey… don’t talk like that. I just saved you. Without me, you’d have had your soul sucked away by that White Bone Spirit long ago. As a hero, isn’t it reasonable to embrace a beauty?”
Gong Juechen smiled earnestly at He Xueqi, then looked at the little White Bone Spirit.
“Get lost!” Luffy rolled his eyes at this annoying fellow.
Meanwhile,
the little White Bone Spirit beauty also hid behind Luffy.
“Sigh!”
Zhang Tianling shook his head. These two young people were really disobedient. He couldn’t discern the cultivation level of the boy called Dragon, who hadn’t made a move just now. It made him think the boy might be an ordinary person, yet there was a contradiction—after all, to come from the Jiuzhou Safe Zone to this place, could someone be secretly protecting him? Or was he just incredibly lucky?
He couldn’t figure out the boy named Dragon.
“Rustle… splash…”
The wind and rain intensified. Luffy sat cross-legged nearby with his eyes closed, ignoring the imposter Gong Juechen trying to flirt.
Gong Juechen found it boring and turned toward He Xueqi. “Come on, brother will hold you. I won’t leave you behind anymore.”
“Hmph…” He Xueqi turned her face away, refusing to pay attention to Gong Juechen.
“Don’t you want to have babies with a hero?” Gong Juechen said seriously to He Xueqi.
“No,” He Xueqi blushed as she replied.
“Haha, I know what women mean sometimes when they say no—they mean yes. Come on, let’s do it now,” Gong Juechen lunged at He Xueqi like a ravenous wolf.
“Try that in front of me, and I’ll disgust you to death with corpses,” Zhang Tianling said, utterly speechless.
At that moment,
there was a loud bang at the door. “Bang…” Dozens of vines stabbed through, aiming at Gong Juechen, He Xueqi, and Zhang Tianling.
Luffy and the little White Bone Spirit sat aside, unaffected.
“Damn it, they’re finally here. Watch how I wipe them out.”
Gong Juechen shouted, his iron hammer glowing with purple light.
He stepped forward and swung the silver-white hammer, engraved with mysterious runes, smashing the dozens of vines.
“Boom…” A loud explosion shattered a dozen vines into splinters.
“Humans, how dare you trespass into our territory? Tonight, this broken temple will be your grave.”
A strange, deep voice sounded, like someone who hadn’t spoken for decades suddenly breaking their silence.
Outside, a swirl of demonic aura lingered. Luffy remained calm, sitting cross-legged inside.
The little White Bone Spirit trembled in fear upon hearing the tree spirit’s words.
“Don’t be afraid.” Luffy suddenly opened his eyes, glanced at her, and took her to stand beside the three-headed, six-armed evil deity statue.
“You’re really calm, young man,” Zhang Tianling said, surprised as he looked at the boy named Dragon.
“Not bad,” Luffy said confidently.
“Old tree spirit, you’d better scram, or I’ll wipe you out in a minute,” Gong Juechen shouted outside with confidence.
“Young man, we must cooperate, or we’ll die,” Zhang Tianling said seriously to Gong Juechen.
“Whoosh…”
Suddenly, countless vines shot in like arrows from the front door, lightning-fast. “Poke poke…” He Deyai was instantly pierced and dragged away by the vines, his body riddled like a hornet’s nest.
Furious, Gong Juechen swung his purple-glowing hammer wildly. Zhang Tianling’s face was stern as he wielded his floating dust weapon, continuously blocking the stabbing vines.
Gong Juechen shielded He Xueqi and kept retreating.
“Damn, this damned tree spirit never ends. If I don’t show my power, it really thinks I’m a sick cat.”
Gong Juechen roared, his hammer glowing golden and growing massive—nearly five meters long. He smashed it down fiercely.
“Boom…” A whirlwind erupted, and the vines shattered instantly, none able to pierce through.
Gong Juechen sheathed his hammer and looked confidently at He Xueqi. “How about that? Impressive, right?”
“Impressive!” He Xueqi was amazed.
“I’ll protect you,” Gong Juechen said, cradling He Xueqi’s face with confidence.
“Humans, die.” A woman’s voice rang out. A white, sharp bone pierced through the door into the broken temple. It was a huge white bone spike—at least half a meter in diameter, enormous and capable of extending.
“Holy crap, is that the White Bone Lady?” Gong Juechen was shocked. His hammer trembled as he pushed He Xueqi aside and leapt into the air.
He spun 360 degrees, swinging the now larger hammer toward the giant bone spike. “Heaven’s Dominance Hammer!”
“Boom…” The hammer collided with the massive bone spike, forcing Gong Juechen to retreat over ten meters. Cracks appeared on the bone spike, then it shattered.
“Interesting. Such a powerful hammer technique,” the White Bone Lady said coldly.
