"Who am I? I am, of course, a good person. Goodbye."

Lu Fei walked forward when suddenly, the world began to shake violently. The ground collapsed continuously in a terrifying display. Beside him, Jun Moyu turned pale with fright. She slipped into a deep chasm that had opened up, but managed to catch the jagged edge of the ground, narrowly avoiding a fatal fall.

Lu Fei activated his "Three Thousand Lightning Movements," flashing through the air like a bolt of lightning. He snatched Jun Moyu up and flew back toward the path they had come from, moving with the speed of a gale.

The sky itself began to crack and shudder, a truly harrowing sight. Even Lu Fei was startled; he pushed himself to his limits to escape. A suffocating abyss opened in the earth, from which countless massive tentacles lunged out.

Lu Fei flew as if his life depended on it, finally reaching the doorway. With a thunderous boom, he burst through, and the black tentacles were blocked by the closing door, which let out a terrifying roar before vanishing entirely.

Lu Fei stood to the side, set Jun Moyu down, and turned to leave. "Goodbye."

"Oh, goodbye."

Jun Moyu looked at the spot where the door had disappeared with lingering fear. What were those tentacles? They were so terrifying that she would have died if not for the boy named Lu Fei. He was so powerful—he could even fly! It was simply incredible. She watched him go with a sense of reluctance, and only when he had vanished did she head in the opposite direction.

Lu Fei arrived at a cave near the Kunlun Mountains. He took Qin Bailing out of his spatial ring and laid her down gently and cautiously. He then set up a defensive formation at the cave entrance. Turning back, he opened the fire crystal coffin and gazed at Qin Bailing, who kept her eyes tightly shut. She was so close, so beautiful, and so enchanting.

Lu Fei spread a cloth on the ground, returned to the coffin, and lifted her onto the cloth. He sat her up in front of him, pressing his palms against her delicate back. He channeled his inner flame into her body, then activated the "Burning Incantation" to draw out the cold poison from within her.

Her expression shifted subtly; at first, it was one of pain, a look that was strangely alluring. Then, her pale complexion gradually flushed with a faint warmth. Her fingers twitched, her eyelids fluttered, and her long lashes trembled.

Lu Fei kept his flames gentle, fearing he might harm her in the slightest, which made the process slow. However, the cold poison was being drawn out bit by bit, which was a good sign. Although the process was gradual, it was steady. Soon, black, viscous fluid began to stain Lu Fei's hands. Slowly, Qin Bailing’s lips moved slightly. The fluid smelled foul, leaving Lu Fei speechless.

Half an hour later, the cave was filled with a pungent stench, and Qin Bailing coughed a few times.

Lu Fei withdrew his hands, which were covered in the foul-smelling black residue. He used a cloth to wipe the poison from Qin Bailing’s back, laid her down on the ground, and after cleaning his hands and the cloth, he took a bed from his spatial ring and set it aside. He lifted the still-unconscious Qin Bailing onto the bed. Looking at her enchanting lips, Lu Fei lowered his head and kissed her.

How could he pass up such an opportunity? Gazing at her exquisite, captivating face, he pressed his lips to hers. They felt like jelly—a bit dry at first, then cool, and finally, sweet, lovely, and moist. Of course, Lu Fei kissed her for a long time, but Qin Bailing did not wake up. If she had, it would have been quite awkward.

Afterward, he stood up, looked at her, and then leaned down to kiss her again. Then he stood up, kissed her again, and repeated the motion until he was exhausted.

He finally walked out of the cave to see the scenery outside—it was truly mesmerizing. It was autumn; leaves were dancing in the wind—yellow maple leaves, red maple leaves, and trees of every color. A clear blue river flowed past the entrance of the cave.

Feeling hungry, Lu Fei went to the riverside. Activating his "Reincarnation Heaven Eye," he spotted fish swimming in the depths. He reached out and snatched one from the water, sending droplets flying. The fish thrashed and struggled in his grip, but it was to no avail.

He cleaned the fish with a knife, removed the entrails, skewered it with a branch, and began to roast it in front of the cave, having already prepared the wood for a fire.

The aroma of the roasting fish was intoxicating. Lu Fei was in a wonderful mood. Not only had he stolen a kiss from Qin Bailing, but he had also cured her illness and set her on the path to recovery.

Once the fish was roasted and seasoned, he began to eat. Suddenly, he heard footsteps—weak, familiar footsteps. It was Qin Bailing.

Lu Fei turned to see her walking out, her eyes bleary with sleep. She looked frail and moved slowly. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and looked at Lu Fei, who was eating the fish, with a face full of surprise.

"Where... where am I?" Seeing the beautiful landscape before her, Qin Bailing’s lovely eyes widened. She had no idea how she had ended up here. What had happened? She only remembered fighting the Butterfly Demon King and losing consciousness.

She hadn't expected to arrive in such an unfamiliar place. Seeing Lu Fei eating roast fish, her stomach let out a loud, hungry rumble, making her feel quite embarrassed.

"This is by a small river in the Kunlun Mountains."

Seeing that Qin Bailing was awake, Lu Fei stood up, looking delighted. "Here, eat this. I’ll go catch another one to roast."

"Alright, thank you so much." Qin Bailing took the fish from Lu Fei and began to eat. She ate with elegance, yet quite quickly—after all, she had no idea how many days she had gone without food.

Seeing how she ate, Lu Fei realized one fish wouldn't be enough. He went to the river, caught two more, and headed back.

Qin Bailing hadn't been watching how he caught the fish, but once he returned, she was surprised at how quickly he had caught two more. She continued eating.

"I didn't expect you to have such skill. To roast such delicious fish in an environment like this," Qin Bailing said happily, finishing the first fish quickly.

Lu Fei had already roasted another, and with the seasonings added, it was ready.

"Hmm, I didn't realize you were so skilled." Qin Bailing looked at Lu Fei with pleasant surprise and took the fish to start eating again.

"Of course," Lu Fei said proudly.

"How did we end up here? The Nine Provinces are a very, very long way away," Qin Bailing asked, her lovely eyes fixed on Lu Fei with curiosity.

"You were poisoned by the Butterfly Demon King and nearly died. It took a massive amount of effort on my part to keep you hanging on, and then I brought you to the Kunlun Mountains to find a cure. I found it, and you were saved. It’s as simple as that."

Lu Fei explained as he roasted the fish.
