Qin Bailing was stunned, her beautiful eyes wide open and her face flushed. She struggled continuously, but as the kiss deepened, her eyes grew hazy and her body softened, leaving her to collapse limply into Lu Fei's embrace.

"I'm not talking to you anymore." Qin Bailing walked into the cave, her face set in a stern expression, ignoring him completely.

Lu Fei stood to the side and activated his mind, bringing up the glowing system interface. He clicked on the Ultra Instinct manual, and a window popped up asking if he wished to learn it. Naturally, he clicked "Yes."

Immediately, a stream of obscure and profound information flooded his mind. Ultra Instinct was truly incredible; it didn't even require the bloodline of a Super Saiyan—all it needed was dragon blood. As it happened, Lu Fei possessed the Blood Dragon. The thought alone made him ecstatic.

He mastered it in an instant.

Without even needing to roar, he transformed into a Super Saiyan 2, his power surging significantly. Lu Fei was pleasantly surprised by the result. After reverting to his original form, he entered the cave to find Qin Bailing using a satellite phone to chat with her parents, laughing and talking happily.

Lu Fei sat nearby and watched her.

"Hmph..." Seeing him walk in, Qin Bailing let out a soft snort and turned away to continue her call. "Alright, I understand. I'll be back soon."

After hanging up, she looked at him. "Why did you kiss me earlier?"

"Because I like you."

Lu Fei smiled and stood up. "We can head back now."

"Oh? Is that it? Nothing else? That's so infuriating." Qin Bailing pouted.

"Of course there is... because I have always liked you."

Lu Fei walked over to her and pinned her to the bed.

"Is this the 'like' for a friend, or another kind?" Qin Bailing, face slightly flushed, retreated onto the bed, her breathing quickening. She never expected Lu Fei to act this way; he was completely different from before.

"Of course it's the other kind. What did you think? Why else would I travel thousands of miles to find a way to save you? Why would I risk my life to come here? I liked you the moment I transferred here in my senior year, but you never knew."

Lu Fei spoke with deep sincerity. "Now do you understand why I kissed you like that?"

"Then why didn't you tell me?" she asked.

"I didn't have the confidence before. But now, I do." Lu Fei stared into her eyes, his gaze filled with affection.

"Oh, is this a confession?"

"Of course it is," Lu Fei said, leaning in slightly. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"But I've always thought of you as a good friend. Let me think about it... stop leaning so close..." Qin Bailing gasped for air. She never imagined Lu Fei would become so charming. From the way he roasted fish to the kiss earlier—things she never thought he'd dare to do—he had succeeded. He had even come to the Kunlun Mountains to save her, which deeply moved her.

So he had liked her all along, but kept it hidden because he felt inadequate? And now that he had become exceptional, he finally voiced his feelings?

She thought the answer was promising, but she felt she couldn't agree just yet; she needed to be sure that this was a love from the heart.

Lu Fei stepped back. Qin Bailing stood up, her face still red, clearly caught off guard by his boldness.

"Let's go back now. Didn't you say the Jiuzhou Safe Zone is in danger? We can't stay here too long, or my parents won't be safe," she said earnestly.

"So, when are you going to give me an answer?" Lu Fei asked with a smile.

"At least five days!" she replied seriously.

"Alright then, let's head back. I have a 'Godspeed Talisman'; we can reach the Jiuzhou Safe Zone in one day." Lu Fei pulled out the talisman. "Come here, let me carry you. Let's go."

"Cough... just one?" Qin Bailing blushed, surprised he possessed such rare items.

"Of course. If I had more, I'd give them to you," Lu Fei said, acting perfectly honest.

"Oh, alright. How are you going to carry me?" she asked, her face slightly flushed.

"Bridal style, of course."

Lu Fei activated the talisman and scooped her up. A fragrant breeze washed over him, and the sensation was intoxicating. The talisman turned into a golden light that enveloped them, and in a flash, they shot forward like a bolt of lightning.

Qin Bailing was stunned. Feeling so secure in his arms, she found herself not wanting to leave.

"How about I take you for a flight in the sky?" Lu Fei asked, casting a mischievous glance at her.

"You can fly?" she asked, clearly skeptical.

"Just watch."

Lu Fei unleashed the "Three Thousand Lightning Movements," and with a "whoosh," they soared into the sky. Qin Bailing gasped in surprise as they flew among the blue skies and white clouds, which felt within arm's reach.
