Standing within the safety zone, Qin Bailing gazed earnestly at Luffy, who stood straight just outside the barrier. She thought back to their senior year of high school, the first time he had arrived with short hair, silent, standing before the teacher with a touch of shyness—so different from the outgoing, bold, and domineering person he was now.

However, she preferred the current Luffy. After all, people always evolve for the better, don't they?

Luffy was dressed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, his hands behind his back, looking completely composed at the two tier-8 zombie king and shark king.

"Are your ultimate moves finished? If not, once I make my move, you won't have a chance to use them anymore. Don't say I bullied you."

"Aren't you a bit too arrogant? Don't think that just because you can bounce back my attacks you're all high and mighty! Do you think you're some kind of hotshot? Go to hell!"

The tier-8 shark king was so furious that his hands gripped his trident tightly, his knuckles turning slightly white. He had unleashed his ultimate move—a battle fought with his very life on the line. Using it would cost him half his life, but it amplified his strength threefold. There was no way this teenager wouldn't be crushed by it.

His entire body was wreathed in blue vapor, growing increasingly violent. The terrifying pressure was overwhelming.

"Good grief! This guy is burning his lifespan to unleash such powerful demonic Qi, actually turning the Qi blue and fusing it with water vapor!"

Old Zhang Jiu's eyes widened in utter shock.

"So what? Our boss will definitely defeat those two big monsters." Zeng Hongsen said earnestly.

"Good luck." Little Dragon Girl bit her lip, watching the situation with deep concern.

No one else spoke, and an oppressive silence fell over them.

Disgusting scales sprouted all over the tier-8 shark's body, forming an eerie rune. His demonic Qi became intensely violent, and his eyes grew razor-sharp like a demon's. The frenzied power inspired sheer terror. The trident in his hand radiated a chilling deterrence as he abruptly raised it high and smashed it down toward Luffy.

"Boom..." The heavens and earth dimmed slightly, and a wave of destructive energy erupted from the ground, surging toward Luffy. It looked like a blue light of world-ending proportions, leaving many with their jaws hanging wide in shock.

The tier-8 zombie king wasn't idle either. The rusted giant blade in his grip was wreathed in gray gas—deathly Qi—which grew increasingly violent, resembling surging waves. "Clank..." With a thunderous roar, he swung his blade, unleashing a destructive crescent wave toward Luffy. This time, the slash resembled a light of annihilation, a desperate move that would leave him severely wounded.

The two giant monsters had unleashed their full strength, directing their powers of destruction straight at Luffy.

"Holy crap... Isn't this just way too insane?" Zeng Hongsen gasped, speaking in dead earnest.

"If it were me, I'd have been dead long ago," Zhao Liying said with a hint of worry.

"He'll definitely be fine," Little Dragon Girl said.

"He's so confident; he truly won't be in danger." Qin Bailing knew Luffy's character. Since he was so confident, he definitely had a plan—at the very least, he wouldn't die there.

"Boom..." Two forces, powerful enough to induce asphyxiation and twist space itself, crashed toward Luffy. The ground shook incessantly, and the world was painted in hues of blue and gray.

Fissures tore across the ground like an earthquake. The horrifying explosion formed a massive hemispherical energy dome a thousand meters wide.

Everyone was blown backward repeatedly. The protective barrier shook violently, distorting to the point where it almost gave way under the ferocious shockwaves.

"Haha... With an attack this powerful, even if he didn't die, we'd only have to run. Though he should be blown away to the point where not even dust is left, right?" The tier-8 zombie king's face was deathly pale, cold sweat streaming down his body. He vomited a mouthful of blood and dropped to one knee, barely keeping himself from collapsing.

The tier-8 shark king felt a sweet taste in his throat and abruptly spat out a mouthful of blood, crashing heavily to the ground. He couldn't help but laugh aloud, "If he can still survive this, then we can only wait for reinforcements."

"Reinforcements? Is that even possible?" the tier-8 zombie king asked uncertainly.

"Nothing is impossible. If that tier-8 peak, two-star king steps out, then perhaps anything is possible."

The tier-8 shark king said earnestly to the zombie king beside him.

"Let's see what happens first. Maybe he didn't come."

The tier-8 zombie king shook his head and said.

Ahead of them, the energy finally dissipated, and the rolling dust and thick smoke gradually cleared, revealing a colossal, jaw-dropping crater.

"Good grief, is this for real? How is this even possible? It blasted such a massive hole—where is Luffy?" Zeng Hongsen looked around, unable to find a trace of him.

"Damn, is this even something a human can do? Simply terrifying," Ma Bi said speechlessly.

"Haha... Finally dead?" The tier-8 zombie king saw no trace of the youth anywhere.

"Be careful, don't get cocky yet. Maybe the brat is hiding somewhere," the tier-8 shark king said grimly, scanning his surroundings.

"Heh... Not a bad attack. It really caught me off guard. But since you've already used your ultimate moves, shouldn't it be my turn?"

Luffy drifted down slowly from the sky, landing right in front of the two tier-8 monster kings. "Didn't you always say that humans are just food for zombies and desolate beasts? Today, let me show you whether humans are really just food."

Luffy raised a single hand. "In this apocalyptic era, the strong prey upon the weak. So, let all of you beasts and zombies know that we humans are not to be bullied. Anyone who dares to invade must die, and you two are living proof."

Luffy pointed his middle finger directly at the tier-8 zombie king and the tier-8 shark king.

"Well said!" Hearing Luffy's words, Zeng Hongsen felt his blood boil. Humans had been so vulnerable in this apocalypse; someone had to stand up, shatter the rules, and allow humanity to rise and live on equal footing with zombies and the myriad clans of desolate beasts.

"Boss is mighty!" Ma Bi roared.

"The boss is the strongest!" Zeng Shuna was deeply moved as well.

Watching Luffy's figure, Qin Bailing felt that he had changed immensely, maturing far beyond the quiet classmate he once was. He was now someone who bravely stepped forward to fight without fear of overwhelming power. She looked intently at his back, thinking he looked rather handsome.

The tier-8 shark king laughed in sheer rage. This human youth was really getting ahead of himself just because they gave him a little breathing room; he truly had a death wish.
