Luffy’s finger had long been burning with impatience. He pointed it directly at the two eighth-order, one-star junior kings, ready to snuff out their lives at any moment.

"Ah..." Seeing the blinding beam hurtling toward him, the eighth-order zombie king's eyes widened in sheer terror. What kind of attack was this? A single finger could unleash such terrifying energy—it was utterly horrific, striking his heart with palpitations, filling him with dread and the palpable scent of death. How could this be? His entire body trembled violently.

The eighth-order shark king beside him fared little better, cold sweat pouring down his body in torrents. Could that finger really be so immensely powerful? He sucked in a cold breath, retreating step by step. How was he supposed to fight this? They were completely outmatched. Just a gentle point, and it was already this monstrously powerful. How could anyone fight against that?

"Ah..."

The destructive beam blasted right between the eighth-order zombie king and the shark king. Though they were only clipped by the shockwave, their bodies instantly dissolved into specks of starlight.

They didn't even have a chance to flee. They bitterly regretted underestimating this young man. To be wiped out by a mere finger of his, as effortlessly as crushing an ant, was simply too easy.

However, he soon discovered that devouring the crystal cores of other zombies allowed him to grow rapidly. Naturally, he began hunting his own kind.

He was one of those rare zombies who retained consciousness the moment they transformed.

That was why he had grown so fast. Naturally, it was also after entering the Zombie Abyss that he encountered a monumental fortuitous encounter, evolving into his current state. Deep within the Zombie Abyss lurked eighth-order peak zombies, and perhaps even ninth-order ones—an unfathomable abyss. Rumors had it that the abyss had fallen from the heavens at the start of the apocalypse, and the first zombies to enter it had reaped the greatest benefits.

They had grown immensely powerful, and that place eventually became the ultimate lair of the zombies.

He desperately hoped that other zombies would come to rescue them.

Yet, to his utter despair, his body dissolved into starlight, gradually fading away. Until the very moment of his complete disappearance, no other zombies came to save him.

The eighth-order shark king, right up until his death, deeply regretted his earlier words. He had vastly underestimated this youth and had his face slapped in the most thorough manner possible.

Both kings had been eradicated by Luffy.

The humans in the safe zone broke out into rapturous cheers.

"Our boss is mighty!"

"Luffy is insanely awesome!"

"Get lost, all you zombies and desolate beasts! Do you know our true power now?"

Many people roared at the top of their lungs, harboring a bone-deep hatred for the zombies and desolate beasts. Zeng Hongsen was naturally the first among them to shout.

As for Qin Bailing, she was undoubtedly the most—times a million—shocked person present. She knew Luffy had become formidable, but she never imagined he would become *this* formidable. It was simply terrifying. With just a gentle flick of his finger, he had obliterated two eighth-order zombie kings along with a shark king. Was this not utterly unbelievable?

Naturally, Elder Zhang Jiu was equally astonished. He hadn't expected that the person previously beaten to the point of having no power to counterattack would suddenly turn the tables, annihilating two major monsters with a single finger. Was this youth named Luffy trying to defy the heavens?

"Hehe... To think a human like you could actually detect me." A voice filled with surprise drifted from behind the trees in the distance. A woman dressed in red walked out from the shadows. Her eyes were painted with red eye shadow, making her look both bewitching and eerie.

She walked with the delicate, swaying grace of lotus steps.

"An ethereal body. A ghost? A demon? A spirit? What brings you here?"

Luffy looked at the woman. Her figure was quite nice, especially her chest, which was exceptionally full, almost bursting through her clothes.

As she walked, she swayed her hips from time to time, stopping five paces away from Luffy. With a seductive tone, she said, "I hail from the Netherworld. You may call me a member of the Netherworld Clan, but I do not represent the clan as a whole. A certain zombie invited me here."

"You aren't lying. Come out now, you eighth-order peak, three-star zombie king hiding among the horde."

Luffy looked toward a distance. A zombie stood there, bearing a striking resemblance to a human, entirely free of the grotesque rot of other zombies. The zombie raised its brows in mild surprise and looked at the human youth. "Truly unexpected. To think you could discover me."

"You are truly ruthless. You didn't lift a finger even when your own kind and reinforcements were being wiped out."

Luffy stood with his hands behind his back, standing tall and straight upon the ground as he looked at the eighth-order three-star zombie king and the sexy woman from the Netherworld beside him.

"The law of the jungle dictates that the weak perish and only the strong survive. That is the rule of our abyss," the eighth-order peak three-star zombie king said ruthlessly, as if stating a mundane everyday fact.

"Oh, since our philosophies don't align, there's no point in talking further. If you two want to make a move, do it quickly. I still want to go back, take a bath, sleep, and get some rest."

Luffy spoke with utter calm, completely unfazed by the formidable strength of the two entities before him.

"You certainly are calm. To face our mighty strength without the slightest trace of panic... It seems you either possess immense power, or you're just putting on a brave front," the Netherworld woman said softly.

"I observed your strength beforehand. The finger you unleashed earlier was at least the power of a two-star king. Those two one-star kings were naturally no match for you. I reckon your strength is at least mid eighth-order."

The eighth-order peak three-star zombie king analyzed with confidence, "If my guess is correct, you will ultimately die by my hands. Of course, I am a zombie who appreciates talent. You can become my subordinate, and I will allow your human race to continue living in humility."

"I have nothing more to say, except that this young man is quite handsome. Come here, big sis will dote on you. Submit to me already." The sexy Netherworld woman unleashed her charm, though her potent seduction techniques failed to affect Luffy in the slightest.

"Auntie, you're not that young anymore."

Luffy said with a face full of disgust.

"You..." The sexy woman from the Netherworld was practically furious enough to drop dead.
