Chapter 153: The Epic Battle Rages for N Rounds... You Know How It Goes... Hehe
"Huh? No, just no?"
Luffy wore a sly grin. He would charge in while Qin Bailing was halfway through her bath and catch her completely off guard. Just thinking about it made Luffy extremely happy, as he would get to see her perfect body.
"Haha..." Luffy couldn't help but laugh out loud at the thought, feeling that he was too clever and simply awesome.
However, it didn't seem quite romantic enough. He immediately redeemed a flower from the system so that things could become just a little more romantic.
Then, he lay on the bed, imagining the wonderful scene ahead, and began to countdown.
In the bathroom, Qin Bailing was surrounded by rising steam, looking breathtakingly beautiful as she enjoyed her bath. Suddenly, the door was pushed open and a figure rushed in. Before she even had time to scream, she saw it was Luffy, holding a flower in his hand. "For the beautiful you."
"How did you get in?" Qin Bailing asked in surprise, crossing her arms over her chest as her face flushed deeply.
"Of course I came to take a bath with you. Otherwise, how could I live up to someone as exceptional as myself?"
With that, Luffy lunged forward without hesitation.
"Ah..." Qin Bailing tried to dodge to the side, but it was impossible to escape Luffy.
The two engaged in a fierce battle in the bathroom. The sounds of combat were intense, with cries and shouts ringing out high—it was practically a world-war-level clash.
After an unknown amount of time, Luffy and Qin Bailing finally emerged from the bathroom. Qin Bailing was nestled in Luffy's arms like a little bird, having completely become Luffy's woman.
Her eyes were filled with lingering affection and deep dependence.
Even her gaze had transformed; this was the magic of love and the starting point of life.
They returned to the bed and resumed the battle. Three hundred rounds? Not enough? Then three thousand rounds? Still not enough, then thirty thousand rounds? Not enough? Then three to the Nth power of rounds.
The night grew hazy...
As the first rays of dawn filtered through the window, Luffy opened his sleep-blurred eyes to see Qin Bailing sleeping soundly in his embrace. Her beautiful face was mesmerizing. Luffy got up, brushed his teeth, washed his face, and walked out to the room to order breakfast. Sitting at the dining table, he noticed Qin Bailing had also woken up, looking radiant and well-rested. It seemed last night's intense battle hadn't tired her out too much. Soon, Qin Bailing finished brushing her teeth and washing up, and joined Luffy for breakfast.
"I was exhausted from the fighting last night, but you're really amazing, with such powerful combat prowess. You beat me until I hurt all over," Qin Bailing said with a blushing face.
"It won't happen next time," Luffy said, pouring her a glass of milk and patting her head.
"Oh, really? Are you lying to me?" Qin Bailing asked, blinking her expressive eyes at Luffy.
"Of course it's true. When have I ever lied to you?" Luffy said with absolute confidence as he sipped his milk and ate breakfast.
After finishing, he went out to have fun with Qin Bailing. It was a rare day of leisure, and not enjoying it would be a waste.
Of course, along the way, Zeng Hongsen and the others kept calling in to report on the situation—some places offered resistance, while others were very cooperative.
Everything was going smoothly.
"Where are we going to play?" Qin Bailing asked, looking curiously at Luffy.
"Of course, we're going to eat and play everywhere," Luffy said with a smile, holding Qin Bailing's hand.
"That's true. I haven't had a day of leisure like this in so long," Qin Bailing said, looking very excited upon hearing Luffy's words.
She went with Luffy to eat street snacks, rode the roller coaster together, went on the carousel, and then watched a movie—these were some of the few remaining forms of entertainment.
The movie had been released previously, but Luffy hadn't seen some of them, such as *How Long Will I Love U*. Luffy bought tickets, and sitting with Qin Bailing in the waiting lounge, the two of them drew the envy of many. He was handsome and she was beautiful, making them a match made in heaven. No one recognized Luffy. He bought two cups of cola and a large bucket of popcorn.
Soon, the movie started. Luffy and Qin Bailing showed their tickets to the usher, walked inside, and sat in the best seats. There were a little over a dozen people watching. After all, not many people could afford to come to the movies nowadays, and a dozen people was already considered a lot.
Of course, movies were also extremely rare, and only a single cinema could draw this many viewers.
Luffy and Qin Bailing sat side by side, watching the movie and experiencing a different kind of doomsday.
The apocalypse was not just cruel; one could also live joyfully. Of course, as long as you were strong enough, there would be enough joy.
The movie was quite good, and by the end, Qin Bailing was even moved to tears. Her tear threshold was very low, and she never expected she could be so sentimental. The interlude song began to play:
How much farther can we walk together?
I want to accompany you for one more day.
Close your eyes,
If all of this were to replay, I wouldn't change.
A small and cozy space,
Because you are by my side,
I no longer feel afraid,
Stepping forward boldly...
Together for a day, a month, a year,
Does this look like forever?
"Did they end up together in the end?" Qin Bailing asked Luffy, her face stained with tears.
"Of course they did." Luffy used a tissue to wipe away Qin Bailing's tears and continued watching. In the end, the female protagonist in the future discovered a stalker who had been following her all along, and kicked him away with a comical resolution.
Two people from different time and space ultimately met in the future...
Qin Bailing's face was completely streaked with tears from crying, but the story was truly touching.
After it ended, they left the cinema together and went to grab some snacks with Qin Bailing.
"The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming up in a few days. Time flies," Qin Bailing said to Luffy.
"Yeah, pretty much!" Luffy smiled and looked at Qin Bailing.
Suddenly, a little girl rushed over from the side. She was a little one wearing tattered clothes. Wasn't this the child he had rescued previously? Weren't people supposed to be taking care of her? How did she end up in such a miserable state? "Big brother, save me! Someone save me."
"Do you know her?" Qin Bailing looked at the little girl in surprise, and naturally felt a deep sense of sympathy.
"Yes, when we were coming from Yongchun Town earlier, I rescued this girl and brought her back to the safe zone. But during the fierce battle that happened later, the person taking care of her died in action. I didn't think about her at the time, and I never expected she would end up wandering outside," Luffy explained to Qin Bailing, then looked down at the little girl. "It's fine, Big Brother is here." Luffy patted her head. Just then, several men in black rushed over, all looking fierce and menacing.
"Kid, you'd better not meddle in other people's business, or we won't know how you die," one of the men in black roared menacingly at Luffy.
"Are you done acting fierce? What's your name again? I've already forgotten," Luffy completely ignored those men and instead looked down at the little girl with great tenderness.
"My name is Chen Yuxuan..." The little girl looked at those people with extreme fear. "They're so scary."
"Chen Yuxuan, huh? That's a pretty name. Nothing's going to happen to you!" Luffy patted the little girl's head, placed some snacks in front of her, and then turned to face the men in black.
