Chapter 45: The Second Layer of the Dragon Emperor’s Dominance Technique

“Yes, those people are utterly revolting, inhuman, absolute beasts. Killing them a thousand times wouldn’t even begin to satisfy my disgust.”
Zeng Hongsen saw that all those fine women had been violated, and beside them lay a heap of bones—at least a dozen, obviously the remains of men who had been eaten.
“That group of chefs is something else. They ate the men, and when there weren’t enough left, they started on the women.”
Ma Bi’s eyes went wide with shock—there truly were all kinds of people in the world.
The apocalypse was the best opportunity for people to grow stronger, but also the time when death came swiftly. Zombies roamed, wild beasts prowled, plants mutated, and humanity became weak, reduced to prey.
Luffy felt that forming this group was his best option; there would be wars in the future, and making this team stronger would mean building his own power.

Luffy’s lips curled into a faint smile. The red envelopes were back. He turned to the side and said,
“Comfort them. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome. Here are ten body-refining potions—give each of them two. Exchange them for crystal cores. This is an advance for them.”
Luffy was already scanning for the envelopes, activating his Samsara Heavenly Eye. He spotted one on the balcony.
He walked upstairs, unhurried, arriving before the balcony door—a heavy iron gate secured by a black iron chain and a padlock.
Clang...
Luffy drew his Thousand Thunder Sword and slashed. The chain snapped and crashed to the floor.
He pushed open the door and stepped outside. The sky was still split by that massive rift, dark energy pouring endlessly from it.
Boom...
A giant red eye appeared behind the rift, watching this world.
Luffy was startled. What kind of monster was that? Its sheer size made his scalp tingle.
“Ding, illusions abound. That rift leads to the Illusion Demon Clan of the Hundred Races of the Starry Sky. Host need not worry; the Illusion Demon Clan will not enter Earth for another ten years.”
“My god, with a body that huge, wouldn’t a single step flatten a whole town?”
Luffy inhaled sharply. “So, the apocalypse was caused by the alien Illusion Demon Clan?”
“Ding, you could say that, but not quite. The rift appeared on Earth by accident, and the apocalypse was caused by it. The Illusion Demon Clan discovered the rift by chance as well.”

“So that’s how it is. The mutated zombies, plants, animals—they’re all tough enough already. And now there are aliens. What happened to this world?”
Luffy felt immense pressure; he had to become even stronger, or survival itself would be impossible.
He walked up to the red envelope—it was surprisingly large. He raised his hand and tapped it.
“Ding, opening red envelope. Please wait twenty-five seconds. Twenty-five, twenty-four, twenty-three...”
“Ding, red envelope opened successfully. Congratulations, host, you have obtained the second layer of the Dragon Emperor’s Domineering Technique. It has been sent to your temporary storage.”
“Dragon Emperor’s Domineering Technique 2!” Luffy was ecstatic. To get something like this—his luck was extraordinary.
With a thought, a light screen popped up before him. He clicked on the Dragon Emperor’s Domineering Technique 2 in his temporary storage, and a window appeared.

Luffy’s lips curled into a smile. He closed the balcony door and went downstairs. Liu Yanmeng was showering in a room on the sixth floor. Her figure was stunning—seductive face, at least a thirty-five D bust, a slender waist, long legs like a model, and a perky rear. Just looking made one’s mouth water.
Luffy entered her room and sat on the clean bed. The fragrance inside was intoxicating, genuinely comfortable.
Outside, it started to rain, the sky covered in thick clouds. Liu Yanmeng walked out of the bathroom naked, saw Luffy sitting on the bed, and let out a startled scream. Her ample chest quivered twice, and she quickly covered herself with her hands, turning back into the bathroom and shutting the door.
“Why are you here?” Liu Yanmeng’s voice trembled from inside the bathroom, a mix of shyness and irritation.
“I just wanted to check on you. Didn’t expect you to be so uninhibited.” Luffy chuckled.

“Hmph... You didn’t even knock when you came in.” Liu Yanmeng was clearly annoyed.
“You’re my servant, aren’t you? If I see you, it’s no big deal.”
Luffy shrugged. “Come out, I need to talk to you.”
“My clothes are on the bed. Bring them to me.” Liu Yanmeng spoke softly. Did he want to sleep with her? Why else would he come to her room? Her cheeks flushed as she wondered if she should let him—would he be strong and passionate?
“Oh!”
Luffy’s thoughts were pure, but Liu Yanmeng’s were anything but. He brought the clothes to the bathroom, opened the door a crack, and handed them to her.
The fragrance drifted out, enchanting.
Though Luffy’s body reacted, he had no ill intentions—he handed over the clothes and returned to the bed.
After a while, Liu Yanmeng emerged, graceful and delicate. Her damp hair and dewy skin made her even more alluring, like a lotus just out of water.
“Alright, sit over here.”
Luffy patted the other side of the bed.
“Okay.” Liu Yanmeng sat down, her heart pounding.
“I need to tell you something.” Luffy leaned in, pushing her down onto the bed. She didn’t resist, breathing softly and closing her eyes.
Luffy paused, puzzled why she closed her eyes, but took the opportunity to tap the red envelope beneath her.
“Mmm...” Liu Yanmeng let out a soft moan, extremely sensitive.
