“You’re the one seeking death. Do you think having three thousand times the manpower makes you invincible?”
Lu Fei smiled calmly, his body surging with the first and second layers of the Dragon Emperor’s Dominance Technique. With a single punch, he struck at the head of the Tianxie Sect. Their founder refused to help them; all that awaited them now was death.

A split second after their fists collided, the outcome was decided.

The Tianxie Sect’s leader let out a heart-wrenching scream, his fist shattered by Lu Fei’s blow—pain so intense it seemed to reach his very soul.

His hand was a mess of blood and flesh, bone exposed.

“How…is this possible?”

Cold sweat drenched the sect leader’s body as he writhed in agony. How could this youth be so powerful? He was only at the second tier, yet with a single punch, he had humiliated a seventh-tier master like himself. If word spread, he’d have to bury his head in the earth in shame.

Suddenly, dozens of swords gleaming with red light appeared behind him.

“Flying swords?”

Lu Fei paused in surprise at the spectacle, though his lips curled into a faint smile.

“Boy, you’re wise to recognize your fate. Today, you’ll die beneath my swords!”
The sect leader roared, his face twisted in malice. The dozens of red swords shot toward Lu Fei.

The leader grinned savagely—no matter how tough the boy’s fists were, he couldn’t withstand flying swords. It was clear that the youth would be pierced by countless blades.

“Ah… Why are the flying swords coming back?” cried a voice from Jue Bing Point.

The Tianxie Sect elder nearby stared, dumbfounded, unable to believe the swords he’d hurled had returned.

“Impossible! My flying swords are out of control! What did you do?” The sect leader stared at Lu Fei in terror.

“I did nothing, really. I simply took control of your swords for a while. It’s that easy. Go die.”

Lu Fei laughed cruelly. Anyone daring to oppose him must bear the full weight of his fury and murderous intent.

The remaining four men were skewered like a hive by the dozens of flying swords.

All died in bizarre fashion, never expecting such a fate.

Lu Fei, of course, had invoked the “Soldier” secret from the Nine Characters Mystique, seizing momentary control over the enemy’s flying swords and turning them against their masters.

Truly, the “Soldier” secret was a mysterious power.

Lu Fei rummaged through their bodies, searching for treasures. He found a fourth-tier crystal core and a fifth-tier crystal core—an immense bounty.

He also discovered a spatial ring filled with supplies and several pills. Luck was on his side.

Then,

He turned toward the stone coffin. Inside, he found a red envelope, surprisingly large. But obtaining it had been fraught with danger; it appeared much farther away than promised.

Still, with a fourth-tier crystal core worth ten thousand, and a fifth-tier worth one hundred thousand, he’d amassed a total of one hundred and ten thousand crystal cores. It was a windfall.

Lu Fei reached out and tapped the envelope.

“Ding! Red envelope opening in progress. Twenty seconds required. Countdown: 20, 19, 18…”

“Ding! Red envelope opened successfully. Congratulations, host, you have received the Nameless Sword Technique. It has been sent to the temporary storage compartment.”

“Wow, the Nameless Sword Technique! That’s only available to true experts. My luck is extraordinary!”
Even Lu Fei was surprised.

Of course,

He was elated. The Nameless Sword Technique was a treasure. He immediately clicked to learn it.

A rush of obscure, complex information flooded Lu Fei’s mind, forming a mysterious golden rune that appeared in his consciousness.

But he couldn’t learn it—utterly baffling. Lu Fei was speechless. “What’s going on? System!”

“Ding! This sword technique was created by the most powerful mysterious emperor. It is extremely dominant and requires the emperor’s unique sword energy to be learned.”

“Damn, so I can’t learn it?”
Lu Fei was thoroughly exasperated. He turned away and walked to the cave entrance, leaping up and heading out of the school.

He returned to the building, sat to one side, and saw Zeng Hongsen enter, holding five third-tier crystal cores. He approached Lu Fei:

“Boss, these are the crystal cores I got from killing third-tier zombies—five thousand in total.”

“Not bad!”
Lu Fei smiled, patting Zeng Hongsen’s shoulder, and immediately gave him ten vials of fourth-tier body-tempering liquid, taking the cores.

Each vial of fourth-tier body-tempering liquid actually cost only two hundred cores, so Lu Fei earned three-fifths of the profit—three thousand out of five thousand cores.

He scanned the crystal cores into the system, converting them to system points so they wouldn’t be lost.

With the body-tempering liquid in hand, Zeng Hongsen headed to his room.

The others returned one after another, bringing back their own gains. That night was a day of great harvest, a day for Lu Fei’s subordinates to grow stronger.

Lu Fei had collected fifty thousand crystal cores, bringing his total to one hundred seventy thousand.

The thought was exhilarating.

He left someone on night watch and went to sleep.

The remaining two red envelopes were nowhere to be found, so Lu Fei stopped searching.

The next day.

The morning light was gentle.

Lu Fei opened his sleepy eyes and gazed out the window at the slanting sun. His eyes gradually cleared.

He walked downstairs, took out the supplies gained from the Tianxie Sect last night, and distributed them for breakfast.

Soon breakfast was ready. Everyone ate together, discussing their battles with zombies the night before.

Breakfast was quickly finished.

“All right, let’s head out,”
Lu Fei stood up and walked outside.

He glanced at the mysterious rune on the back of his hand, curious about its purpose.

Lu Fei led everyone toward the original location, the high-rise buildings growing more numerous—a clear sign they were entering the city.

“We’re almost at our destination. Just one more day,”
Lu Fei consulted the map, then raised his hand to wipe out an approaching zombie. Dragon energy swirled, burning several zombies to death; only the crystal cores remained, picked up by Zeng Hongsen and handed back to Lu Fei.

“Boss, you’re amazing,”
Zeng Hongsen said, full of admiration.

“You’re pretty strong yourself now,”
Lu Fei replied with a smile. The zombies were growing more numerous—tens of thousands, even millions.

The sight made everyone’s scalp tingle.

Lu Fei led his group quietly toward a nearby spot, careful not to attract a zombie horde, for even he could be overwhelmed by such numbers.

Up above, a few flying zombies circled—they had clearly mutated.

“Damn, this is insane. Zombies can fly now,”
Zeng Hongsen groaned, and everyone watched the zombies overhead in silence.

Lu Fei led the way into a hundred-story corporate building to rest. They’d been traveling for hours and were exhausted.

But the zombies inside the company had to be dealt with.
